Title: '95 YJ Clutch
Post by: Wingnut on October 05, 2010, 12:50:25 PM
Ok. So I now have my new clutch master, slave and lines that I got from the dealer that is full of fluid and pre-bled. I have one question which I think I know the answer to. The slave cylinder has a white cap on the end with two tabs that are holding the piston in. Should I leave these tabs on when I install the slave cylinder. It looks like they are meant to break when the clutch is used the first time. It also looks like they are designed that you can remove them from the outside after they break. Is this right?

I am pretty sure that I took them off before I install mine - oops.  It still works fine
