Title: software, games, software, dvd's and more software...
Post by: raf2379 on October 18, 2010, 03:17:09 AM
I'm on stand by in Malaysia and been doing some shopping walking around the city, and Almost at every corner and mall they have pirate dvd stores. software, pc games, dvd's they have buttloads of this stuff. I guess its not illegal to sell pirated software here. i've been doing some reading and i found a few articles stating that the goverment of Malaysia is willing to allow institutions to use pirated software for learning purposes. some of the shoping centers here install pirated software when you purchase new pc's, laptops, mac's. i wonder how the companies producing the software react to such piracy in these countries. can they do anything about it? or are they out of luck? interesting.

anyways anyone looking for anything specific???  ;) ;) Solidworks 2010 perhaps, matlab? haha i swear this stuff grows on trees here lol
