Title: 56 cj body to a 66-71 frame

I have 56 cj5. I just picked up a coplete chassie with a dana 27 fr diff so I think it must be frome a 66-71 anyone lnow if my body will fit on the newer frame?
Also it has a p.s. box on it any thoughts on a sterring column that would work

if your planing on doing any kind of wheling, i would sugest not using the frame you picked up. they are weak and prone to breaking in half. your tub should bolt on to that frame fairly easy though.

I came across this site some time ago, as I've been toying around with building up something custom. You could even look at a hybrid frame and get TJ suspension on there as well. Prices look reasonable too....
