Title: where to buy D44 hubs, rotors....
Post by: raf2379 on November 02, 2010, 04:00:18 AM: Anyone know where in Calgary you can go buy new Hubs, Rotors and spindels? this is for a 3/4 Ton D44 8 lug. I tried NAPA but they said they dont cary any of those parts, does anyone in calgary do? my guess is partsource, autovalue, CT dont carry that either.

Post by: Tinkerer on November 02, 2010, 06:31:46 AM: I'd give AutoValue a try, the one near 17'th and 52'nd has been one of the best for me for parts. The other locations I tried either couldn't locate them or got the wrong parts.

I haven't gone to NAPA much, so I take my comments with a grain of salt, but the few times I went there for anything out of the ordinary, I pretty much ended up heading for AutoValue instead.

I buy mine at pickapart. Ys they are used but its usually not hard to find some in really nice shape.

its a Ford HP44. thanks for the input, i'll try gear center, hope they have what i need.

Post by: raf2379 on November 29, 2010, 01:09:27 PM: its funny how one NAPA store says they dont carry 8-lug hub's, and then the other NAPA store quoted me $278 for hub/rotor assembly I laughed when i heard the price. anyways found some at a local shop here in Langdon and only paid $75 for hub/rotor assembly. they are AIMCO premium brand, i think same as the autovalue carries.
