Hey guys,
Any good shops or guys in calgary that can shorten a drive shaft?
-
I had one done at Pat's Driveline a few months ago. Got it back in a couple hours for around $80.
-
Wicked, Thanks!

I deal with Pats driveline and the Gear Center only never steered me wrong
-
Drive System Inc or DSI did mine a few years ago. Great work

I'm curious, why would one want to shorten a driveshaft?

I had a driveshaft made up at Standen's. Good to deal with, decent price and ready the next day.

Standen will sent it to a 3rd party to get it done ..Like DSI or Pat's ...I believe. They manufacture springs. My old roomate used to work there.

i had a driveshaft rebuilt at pats a few months ago, and they even helped me resolve a yoke problem i had.... the (i cannot remember his name) counter guy went through the catalogue, found a similar part that would fit, and then found the proper conversion joint to make it work on my application and gave it to me for the same price i paid.....
oh, and did i mention me and Pook came in at 5 to 6 (5 mins before they closed) and he stayed till 630 to do this for me.
i was very impressed with the customer service. just let em know you were referred buy the CJA and they will at least treat you with respect.

unfortunately DSI is no longer around. drive products closed them down after buying them out. good news is that Cory, who used to run DSI, is now doing drive lines out of danco. Cory is amazing with drive lines and is knowledge is endless. i would recommend him.
