Title: Tranny makin noise

Hey guys i got a 95 xjvwith a 5 speed in er and whenever i pop the clutch or hammer down on gravel theres a really loud whirring noise comin from the tranny i believe ... But if i hammer down on pavement it just goes... Any ideas ?... Im not sure if its some sort of traction control if so where the hell do i unplug it lol

What Tcase do you have? What position is the tcase in when this noise occurs?

Not sure what type ... Only in 2 wheel it does it ... Im thinkin its not disengaging all the way? So when the back wheels are going faster than the front ones its kinda catching?
