Title: Seats ???
Post by: Waytec on December 24, 2010, 11:07:28 PM
I have a set of seats that I am going to be putting in my MJ.
Does anyone know the coast difference of having them rebuilt to replacing them with Master Craft or Corbeau reclining seats.

I don't know what the price difference is, but if you're going to spend any amount of time in them, I'd be tempted to go with some Corbeau seats.  You can get what you want, as opposed to being stuck with whatever the stock design is. I know that the JK's seats are not bad at all compared to many older designs, but I still find that long drives are less than ideal (definitely noticed than coming back from Moab)

here is the one I would go with if i replace them. I do plane on some long drives in this truck when it is all said and done.

how much room in the mj is there to recline? the corbeaus look good for the bang for buck deal. and i heard someone in red deer can get them. so that should work for you aaron. from what ive seen of xj's the brackets like to bend so you may need new brackets too. add in some heated elements for the seats and they get pricey, but if you're goin to do it, do it right off the bat i guess. check on the interweb for seat upgrades from other vehicles. i heard mustang seats were a close fit.

I think that Stan at Northridge is handling Corbeau seats now.
