wow that looks safe

I was wanting to see some 4x4's used to lift it, cheap will eventually get turned back to the earth, and no welding is required and can be done with the simplest of hand tools ;D

That is some high performance SOBOBOBOA engineering. That's spring over block over block over block over axle. ;D
-
with that kind of lift he probably had some 37's and ran it in 4low on the streets because he kept the 3.55's in it, how economical

I'm surprised the U bolts are one piece not a combo of the originals with crap added to make them longer.
It must have rode like a dream with the stock control arms at those angles too.

Jonas, i don't get it, did your XJ end up at PNP? :o :o :o :o 8) 8) 8)
thats gross............ thanks for sharing. thats great!
-
At least he took the time to ensure that the blocks were square and level lol :o
-
I just noticed what he did to extend the front shocks, that is funny stuff.
-
Wow, was the rest of it covered in corrugated steel?
-
seat belts are likely made from hay bail twine

Hahaha.. thats awesome. It's a black 88 XJ right? Was in my yard for a while. Didn't even really pull that much off it before I sent it to the scrap yard
and no... I didn't do that to it. I acquired the XJ in a parts trade.
-
haha, I am starting to think that you may have owned most of the xj's that end up at pnp
-
Wow look at all the skeg err organic matter hanging of the diffs . Bet the former owner travelled all the correct trails :o

Take out "xj's" and substitute "vehicles" and you are pretty close to the truth. ;D

-
Hahaha...glad you guys are enjoying it!

Yep, black late 80's, cut out fenders. Was the motor shot in it or did the hillbilly just decide he had cheated death too long with it and time to get rid...??
-
there was two of them there like this I was sent to pnp by my boss last week to grab a t-case after the recker sent the wrong one twice
the front lower arms on the other one was two arms cut and welded back together to make them longer it was the red94 about 2 rows over from the black one

The motor ran but had a leak somewhere in the cooling system... so no telling how bad it had been overheated. As you can tell from the undercarriage it had been run back and forth in the skeg. From the looks of the interior it had the windows open alot of the time too... it was pretty ripe. I took a few odds and ends off it and the rest got hauled away.
