So I just finished putting in my front coil spring spacers, and while I was putting everything back on, getting ready for an alignment, I couldn't get the track bar in, guessing because of the lift, could it be that my axel is just shifted, or would I need to either try n center it then drill a hole or wait till I can get an adjustable track bar?

How much lift do you have in the front of your XJ?
It's a good idea to put in an adjustable track-bar if you are running more than 4". Some people get away with the 'ol re-drill of the stock bracket axle-side, but I'm not really a fan of this trick myself .
Try this first if you have only 2-3" of lift up front : rock the Jeep side to side by pushing against the fenders, and then push down on the bumper a couple of times to center the axle.
You can also have a friend saw the steeringwheel (slowly) while you try to align the track-bar.
It's still a wise investment to get a quality track-bar though.

Every time you have the the TB off check the lower bolt hole for elongation. I have seen many a D30 with the lower hole elongated, even on stock rigs. I like to weld a thick washer on the outside hole of the lower bracket to keep it from wearing.

a track bar does just that keeps the axle some tracking so when you remove it the axle will shift. get a come along and pull the axle over to where you can get the bolt and bar in. if you only went up a few inch's then you don't need to get a new one that can come latter down the road
