Just picked up a 1998 Grand Cherokee with the rare 5.9L for $1800! Drives very nice but both front and rear bumpers are toast(body ok however). I'm thinking this one will be an expedition style build keeping good road manners at the top of the list.
First off will be new bumpers, think I"ll buy some this time as I want to keep it looking really good. Next will be a 3-4 lift and 31s. Eventually I'd like it locked front and back with 4.10s but no rush. I want to enjoy it as a daily driver(of 2nd daily driver).

Wanna trade front grilles? ;D
Nice score.

HAHA, no. There was someone in Kijiji for awhile trying to pass a '97 ZJ with a 5.2 off as a 5.9er because it had that grill. Was pretty obvious though as it didn't have the hood vents.

nice score clay.
was it the one on kijiji? i was eying one too................

Yep it was off of Kijji. The lady said she had had a ton of calls and just wanted it gone so I moved pretty quick. Was there first thing Saturday morning. It does need some stuff(mostly bumpers) but they had a TON of receipts going back to 2002 for it. Their kid had been driving it lately and had been a bit hard on it but nothing major. Drove really nice all the way back to Cochrane.
