Title: Cost for a monthly motel room in Calgary
Post by: Matt4x4 on March 24, 2011, 08:28:00 PM
I have friends coming over from Ontario, they are staying for a month.

I am doing renovations and just don't have the room for them. They do not need a fancy motel, they are blue collar workers who dont mind roughing it.

Has anyone rented a room, or know someone who has rented a room from a motel in Calgary on a monthly basis.

I was thinking either the Town and Country Motel up in Forest Lawn, or the Shamrock in Inglewood or perhaps even a motel up off Crowchild and 16th Ave aka Motel Village or 16th Ave down in Bowness.
TNC was charging $59 but its now up to $69. I tried googling others but didnt come up with much, except for a $2000/month downtown execusuite type deal.

Thanks
Matt

I don't know what their rates are, but my wife and I had to stay here when our builder screwed up and we had to move out of our house after possesion.  Pretty nice place and I know they do long term rates.
