Title: BFG AT's vs Pro Comp AT's
Post by: 4x4diva on March 30, 2006, 01:48:06 AM
Has anyone owned both these type of tires? How do they compare in terms of on/off-road performance, tread wear, etc.

I have a set of LTB's but would like to get something that would be good for winter driving and road trips so I'm not wearing out my LTB's on the asphalt.

Any thoughts/comments would be welcome.

BFG AT/KO's are the ultimate winter/all around tire IMHO. My second choice would be the TRXUS MT's.

On a side note...the name of these tires is actually pronounced "Trax-us" and not "Trucks-us" as most seem to think. This is straight from Interco.

Pro Comp is only having their 4 for 3 sale to the end of March.  So if you are going with the Pro Comp you better act fast.  I am running their X-Terain and am veary pleased.  I found that Fountain Tire had a better price even with the 4 for 3 sale.  Good luck.
