Over the past year of so my soft top got progressively lounder (07 JKU) on the highway, to the point where I couldn't carry a conversation in the jeep because it sounded like a jet engine. The header that keeps the soft top against the windshield in 07-09 (not sure about 10 or 11s) was made of crappy plastic that warps in the sun so it bows up from the windshield, then acts like an air scoop on the highway. There is a Jeep TSB about it and if you are still under warranty, pick up the new Metal one because it makes a HUGE difference. Almost as quiet as the hardtop now. Mine wasn't under warranty, and the part cost about $180 but it is well worth it if you are having noise problems. Mine's doing the same thing. I'm trying to decide if I should just install the new header, or if I should spring for one of the ORH fastback tops. ;)

Where was yours making noise? Mine makes noise from the corners of the top. mine is an 09 2 dr.

The ORH Fastbacks are sweet. . .one of my buddies has it and it pretty happy. The new header sure does work wonders though!

It was making noise all over, but mostly from above the rear view mirror. If you look at the soft top, and it is sitting above the windshield, that's the problem we're talking about. The new header will make it flush.

Mine sits above the windshield i beleive, I'll have to wait for the jeep to come back from the dealer. gonna be another week before I can check.

If it is above the windshield, and you are under warranty, get it replaced. It is well worth it, especially on the highway.
