4 wins left, whos it going to be? both teams have waited a long time to be here! vote and post up!

if van keeps playing the way they played againts the sharks, i think they will do it.

I am going with Vancouver for 1 reason....
1976 Montreal hosted the Olympics, the Habs won the cup, 1988 Calgary hosted the Olympics, the Flames won the cup... 2010 Vanvouver hosted the Olympics.....
-
I'm sticking with Vancouver, however....
Unless everyone plays their best I think they are going to have a hard time against that Boston team. I was hoping it would be Montreal at the other end of the rink but this was my second choice for a match-up in the finals. Looking forward to the show.

I enjoyed that game. ;D

the whole series, vad did not play well at all, cheep dives, bad penalties, sisters did not show up, and lou chcoked. like I said if they would have played like they did againts the sharks they probably would have a cup to show for it, but they just didnt do it. Bruins played a much better hockey and deserve the cup. its ok 40 years will turn into 41 then 42 and so on. I just feel sorry for kessler, he was their best player the whole playoffs in my oppinion, he really wanted to win it.

I see Vancouver residents acted exactly as I expected after the cup loss, real classy.

We all knew deep down inside that Vancouver wasn't going to win. It was more pathetic then the Flames 2004 cup run. At least the flames lost due to the refs calling the game and not lower then average street hockey skills.
The riot was something other though. Don't think Van will be winning anymore major events for quite a while. They can forget about their FIFA bid... it's just not going to happen. The bystanders (innocent?) are just as much to blame for stoping law enforcement from getting where they needed to be and fueled the ones actually doing the rioting. There weren't that many causing the problems, it was all the onlookers. I'm glad not to live in Vancouver anymore after watching the mayhem unroll last night. They were not prepared for the actions last night (bad planning on behalf of the city after 94) but overall I think they did a good job making sure everyone got home safe. Those who think they didn't use enough force, don't understand the tactics that are required to envoke in such a crisis. Diversion and safety. Well done VPD and other law enforcement.... for a reactive approach. Let this be a lesson for future major events to have a more pro-active approach to maintain order and safety of the streets, business, and people.
2011 - Vancouver cup run Game 7 loss - lets get stoned and destroy the city.
2004 - Calgary cup run Game 7 loss - lets have some beers and watch these chicks rip their shirts off.
For being viewed a redneck city, I'd say Calgary does a good job keeping it classy. The only thing you had to recover from in Calgary was a hangover and blue beans. :)

Did you hear Luongo was so upset after the game he ran out of the coliseum last night and jumped in front of a train….
don’t worry it went thru his legs.

the VPD should have hired Tim Thomas for riot control......... i mean he stopped everything Vancouver threw at him.

Maybe he should stop scratching his nutz after he does his hair, it seems a lot slips though there
