Just wondering if anyone has read/hear any news on the first run of production of these jeeps?

Nothing really new on google's search that hasn't been there for a couple months..

I was asking about it when I was speaking with friend at Crowfoot. He said they haven't heard anything yet and won't likely know 100% until they can place an order. On that note, it sounds like you can do a factory order starting as early as July 1st. Delivery wouldn't likely be until September though.

Dealers in the US are able to do blind orders, so no MSRP. The Pentastar is available on the JK.

I'm excited that the Rubicons will have the option of the matching roof and/or fenders (like the 2011 Saharas).
Pretty sweet. This year will be my year for a new ride. I'll still keep my old Cherokee though, he's been a very good friend!

It should come with a hemi and Dana 60's. That would make me happy.
-
You mean a J8. I'd love to build one of those.
-
I don't think I like the body colored hard top. having a mismatched HT defines a jeep hithout it it kinda looks like an H3 (at least the 4 door would).
And it also reminds me of those terrible Islanders from back in the day (Gaudy red HTs).... Oh yeah I have one of those yeeeach

Would you want the Hemi or the diesel in the J8? Oh right...either would be great cuz they're not minivan engines!
-
EXACTLY!!! I've got a 3.8 in my 1998 Plymouth minivan. Its fine where it is thanks.
For a J8 I would probably go with a hemi. Easier to find parts for and soup up later on.
