Title: 3" lift shocks on a stock height XJ?

hey guys, will shocks meant for a 3 inch lift, work on a jeep with stock suspension?
or will i be running into bottoming out issues?

for a rig that never sees a trail they should be fine.

If they have less the 3" of shaft showing, they will bottom a lot.

I doubt they will fit right. Stock shocks are very small.

I was at Modern Motors in January and found out that Rancho has the same part number for it's XJ shock for 0 " to 3 " of lift.
