Sunday August 14th, 9AM - Maclean store - 33" tire requirement.
We have an abandoned truck to go drag out. It's not far from the road, but a few mud holes on the way...
I'm going to say 35" tire minimum for this guy. If I can get at least 2 more 35"+ rigs that would be great!
Already have the "tow Jeep" (thanks CommancheRunner!) plus hopefully 37AndRunning as support rig.
There is a nearby high traffic, random camping area the rest of the group can scope out for trash while waiting.
Couple hours work, then we have a 33" doable trail to get to the next truck we need to scout out. We may just recover it but drag it all the out another day, or just go take a look & see, then wheel some more.
We'll be close to widow maker at this point, so easy road out if anyone needs to leave early.

You can count me in for this one, I was out Sunday in the blue TJ

I would love to come and ride shotgun with someone if they have an extra seat. I'm told my wife makes a mean chocolate chip cookie and I'm sure I can twist her arm to make a batch. Just sayin.... :)

I would love to come out. I would know by fri. As long my new kingone winch would be on then for. Shure.
Have 33" and they do a great job.

Would love to come out and help and get some pointers from the 'big boys'.
If anyone has a spare seat for me to ride in please let me know. I can meet you at the store in Mclean and will gladly contribute to gas money etc.

Great to see some new faces coming out!
It was asked at last nights Peters meet & Greet, why become a member?
This here is another great example, not only can you help cleanup our playground but, run a new trail!
A trail that is closed to truck traffic, that you've possibly never run before and may never go on again, without getting a big fine.
We have SRD authorization to use it as an access route to get to an abandoned truck.
It's also for this reason I have not marked this day as stocker friendly, it has not been pre-run, trail condition is unknown.
Not that you have to be a member to come out on Sunday, just sayin... the perks like this exist ;)

Another great day in the woods! Another abandoned truck hauled out of the wilderness.
Was a tricky recovery. Steep, large rocks, ledges, etc... was no "easy" way out. A few winches, snatch block, repositioning several times...
Great work from all who came out,
Thanks!

Great day out yesterday. Thanks to father Darren for the safety pointers so we all came back with our fingers and toes lol. Thanks to the team for a hard but worthwhile recovery and getting another wreck out of the trails.
