Title: Brake Fluid Flush
Post by: WK2008 on August 22, 2011, 10:00:25 PM
How often should I be doing this and is this something I can do on my own or leave it to the mechanics? Also, how often should I be doing a brake service with all the mud and water we go through on the trails?

Thanks,

John

Brakes are a fully closed system and most vehicles go their whole lives without a fluid
Change. Some people do it every oil change so really up to you. If your going to do it have someone mechanically inclined and that had done it with you. If you don't bleed them properly they won't work great.

Thanks AV. I am going to get Jay @ Chanda to do a brake service so I will probably take a look at the fluid color while I am there.
