Stay away from the big dealers. I have bought a lot of tires and its disgusting to think you can but goodyears from smaller shops cheaper than Fountain Tire who buys direct. Heck even Canadian Tire sells goodyears for cheaper. Try Jay @ Chanda as his prices are very competitive and the service is great.

I bought may 33 duratracs at crappy tire and with the c.tire money I saved up I pain just under 700 for the 4. They were the cheapest I found even without the c.tire money. 219 a piece
-
i have always got great pricing from National4wd.
-
Theres also an ad going kijiji on toyo mts. Was 300 a piece 33x10.50x15s mounted and balanced. Action tire too is pretty good.

What size was that? Special order?

I recently got a great deal from tire pirates. Far cheaper than anyone else I went to

You must be the only one because I have gotten stupid numbers on rubber from them. Not trying to knock them, just stating a fact.
-
Tire pirates has consistently been the cheapest place around when I am lookin to buy a set and i have found they have some wiggle room on prices

I used Tireshark, he's a local guy that sells online only. Delivered right to my door and even helped me get a vendor mail in rebate. I bought 3 Duratracs 33x12.5 for $500 which included the rebate.
i believe is name is Glen.

Well like anywhere i buy from, i show up personally informed. i know what i can get them for on the internet with delivery, etc. But if i show up (not phone) and have a conversation over prices, i have always done well there. i am willing to pay a bit more locally.
Phoning them just won't get you the best deal.

Thanks. Missed that size in the first post.. must learn to read. Sent him an email for quote.. will report back.

reached out to Tireshark and pirates..... see what comes back ;)
-
My quote was higher then tirerack evem with 300 shipping and waaay more then CT on the Duratracs. then offered to match CT... still ends being more after paying mounting and balancing.
-
Try Bob at UrbanX Wheel & Tire (403.769.1771) great guys over there.

I got a better price at Costco for my KM2's than anywhere else in town. Seems to be that the days of a good deal on tires in this town are gone, you would think that with such a saturation of the market in tires this city has at least one vendor would be willing to make a profit on quantity of sales rather than jacking up the price on one set of tires like they all do. When I was in the tire business this is what I would do, I sold more tires and made way more profit than most retailers in this city.
