I went to the car wash the other night, I washed under the hood and went on my way. I got a few minutes away and suddenly no dashlights. So checked the fuse and it was blown so I put a new one in and again it blew right away. I'm just wondering where the problem could be.

Does the fuse blow as soon as you put it in, with the Jeep turned off?
Or when you put it in reverse? or when turning the lights on?
I've seen this happen before when headlights are cracked, can try disconnecting the bulbs and re test to see if fuse blows.
Check closely for any bare wires or bad grounds under the hood.

The fuse blows only when I turn on the lights. I will try the headlight idea. thanks

The marker lights are on the same circuit with the dash lights. The headlamps themselves have a different fuse. Check your marker lights and wiring. Also check your underhood light if you have one.
