Did any of the "stock" Steel TJ or later rims come in a 8 inch width..? or at least 7 inch..?

yes some are 8inch
i will see if i kept the info...

this site has all tj wheels... look for 97 thru 06 or whenever they changed to JK
lots of 8's.

Thanks... Great link. So steel rims only came in 7 inch width. Now I know....

Correct, TJ steel rims are 7" wide. Most cherokee and YJ steel ones were 7, but I think there was the odd 6" wide one back in the 80's.
Most of the aluminum ones were 7, but a few like the gamblers, Canyon's (TJ ONLY!) Ravine's and Rubicon Moab's are 8 inches wide.
