My truck needs a tune up.
It had one a couple years ago. It runs with no rolling coal as i want but as temps get below 5 degrees, it struggles to start with the remote start. As it gets colder, it will not start with the remote. If its plugged in, no problems starting up to -25 with the remote.
methinks its time for a tune up.
Who do i go see?
Thanks

Here is a local forum board for diesels. Lots of really knowledgable guys on there. www.abdiesels.com
Sounds to me like maybe the grid heaters are not coming on. If I wasn't in the middle of a move I would offer to look at it for you.
I believe Jay at Chanda has some experience with those 12 valve's as well.

For a premium price that is, but I heard they will take your first born and your left testicle as a down payment.

hehe ;D
Thats why I go to Broken axle, Dave's really straight with you NO MUFFLER BEARINGS lol

i first took my truck to DPS. They took care of the killer dowel pin, put in a #10 fuel plate and tuned it up. They did a good job at a fair price (but i did have a connection).
Broken axle Dave said the truck ran great with no tuning issues needed. He suspects it the timer on my remote start is set too long. So, i can't knock DPS as the work they did was almost 3 yrs and 40 thou MILES ago. 8)

i used to work at dps, so i probably did the work on it!

come to think of it, your muffler bearing was a little squeaky......
