Title: ax-15 shifter removal?

How in the hell do I get it off? It's the only thing holding me up on droppin this beotch. It's in a 99 XJ.

Bah nevermind, I got it. Push the retainer and turn. Soooo simple lol. Haynes manual has NO mention of the AX15 shifter at all. Bastards!

Pull the black rubber boot off inside the cab.   Take a Look..... Push and turn.....

Why do you even bother with the Haynes, when all the FSM's are available for free online?

They can **some** times be handy when you break down on the trail with no cell service. Other than that I would imagine most people on this forum have grown out of Haynes manuals by now :)
