Title: Jeep wont shut off wont turn lights off

ok i bought a non running jeep swaped a engine in 2.5L, and when i turn the key to off the motor stays runing and the lights stay on, any ideas?????

What kind of jeep? What year? If it were just the lights and it was a newer jeep (90's+) I say it was your day time running light module, but seeing as it won't shut off, its something more serious. Does the horn work?

Hey i figured it out , theres a red live  wire near the coil donno where it gose, but dont go into the coil, unpluged it every thing works fine now, To bad i took the hole stearing column out frist.
