Title: 2000-2001 XJ computer in a Tj?

My tj's an 02. Can I swap in a computer from an XJ with coil packs? I assume 2000-2001?

Possible emission issues?

Shouldn't be an issue, did XJs come with SKIM?

Just found this post somehow... But yes. XJs came with SKIM. PITA to get around installing the alarm and starter in my 2001...

Well in that case make sure it doesn't have that god aweful feature on the ECM or you'll never get it working. Just one thing to look out for when sourcing your XJ ECM.
