Title: 5.13 or 5.38 gears

i need to choose between 5.15's again or 5.38 for my new diffs .   ill be running 38 -42 inch tires

what do you all figure

I'm assuming you'll be on one-ton axles (60's? 60 and a 14 bolt?), so I'm thinking that 5.38's would be the way to go.

I'm running 5.38s with 36s and its good.

yes 60's front and back  35 spline all around

5.38's it is then 

im running 5.13's now with 35's and i love the power and the crawl ratio


so im sure 5.38's will feel the same

ok so 1175 for a Eaton E locker     that sounds like alot . anyone know if theres cheaper places
