Wanna order up a front and rear LOD bumper. Wheres the best (read cheapest) place to do this? Ive seen a few guys psportin their goods here. I know of the somewhat local shop selling there stuff but given our dollar is close... feel like theres gotta a better way. Or am I destined for another hotel parking lot install south of the border?

What bumper are you looking at. My front and rear bumpers were close to the us price.

get it shipped to sweetgrass and go pick them up yourself...we're onlt 3 hrs to the border...
road trip! ;D

You sure you want the LOD bumpers? We looked into them (they ARE nice), but they are a pain in the @$$ to install. If you're set on them, talk to Stan at Northridge... his pricing for them was pretty good (and he'll ship them to your door).

I really didnt want to talk about Northridge... But just so everyones clear... thats the only "local" shop to buy LOD. I drive a Jeep... Im used to pain in the arse. I also tow a trailer cross country/countries with my family, tow rated is important to me. I know the blah blah about how a warn will tow the same, if it can recover it can tow blah blah. again... tow WITH family. Its LOD or shittybilt.
And the only real pain in the arse I can find is the lack of insructions, bumpers are common sense and really dont need instructions beyond step 1. Bolt bumper to Jeep.

Yeah I got mine from Stan, pretty sure it was around $1100 delivered with all the options. The rear bumper was a breeze to install on my '98. Do you have a later model that is trickier?

Frankly, I LOVE my 'shittybilt'... I put on the front and rear XRC and I've been real happy with them. I also tow a LARGE tent trailer, no issues.
-
Theres absolutely no comparison between the XRC line for your JK and the SRC Classics I was lookin at for TJ. Yours is built 10 times better. Sadly the XRC looks incredibly retarded on TJs and even if it wasnt... For that kinda money Id get one built. LODs is 230ish and perfect for my needs.... A bumper and a hitch.

I used to do the boarder runs for everyone here. We would do a lot of crap. Till stan came along and it wasnt worth it. Im surprised to see a price double. Sure you two arent confused somehow?
