I recently got a set of factory fog lights for the 05 LJ. I found the wires for them behind the turn signals. Can I assume that the rest of the wiring is there, and all I have to do is install a factory switch in the proper location and I have light..?? Could it be all fused and ready to go..? The Jeep did not have these lights from the factory.... I would look myself, but I am away for a bit... Thanks....

there should be a spot for a relay in the fuse box. and of course the switch. you may be able to find the proper wires to hook the switch to under the dash as well. but im not 100% certain on that. i found htem on my xj so it may be there.

I know on my 98 I needed a different harness for the headlights themselves and while the wires under the dash were there, the relay holder was not.

A word of advice... Don't waste your time and money with the factory switch on the turn signal lever. It's expensive to buy/replace (dealer only item - if I remember correctly) and it is common for them too wear out often, frequently, prematurely, etc. Very poor design!
Just get a toggle switch and keep it simple! I re-wired my factory fog lamps and bought a rocker switch. I then mounted it in one of the blanks underneath the heater controls. Works great!

And normally if you use the factory switch as well your fog lights will shut off when you turn on your high beams, if you wire the switch separate you can just get them to stay on with your high beams on
