Title: Freedom Top Hand Screws

Hi There,

I checked but can't find if this was already discussed in another thread so here we go.

I would like to know if anyone has ever had a problem with the hand screws that go through the sound bar to screw into the freedom top panels cracking the freedom top panel?

I have read on another board that this can be a problem and that you don't even have to put in the screws to keep it tight enough to keep out  water.

What is your opinion or has anyone had this happen?

I think that I know where mine are....but I haven't used them for the past two winters. No issues.

Good to hear i'm just going to take mine out. After reading this on another forum i'm all sketched out.

I took mine out when I put the soft top on.  Hard tops on now and I can't remember where they are and I've had no leaks either.
