Title: Hardwear for 2007 JK rock rails
Post by: Boay1 on January 24, 2012, 11:16:06 AM
Hi
I am new to this forum. But from what have seen it is a wealth of info. I have a 2007 JK unlimited   I am a cable guy so I carry ladders on a body armor base rack. But want be able to take my ladders off and hit the trails. My question is.... I picked up some used rock rails and they have no hardwear. I search the net and found out that the "speed clips" are not serviced by mopar. I guess I am asking can anything else work or do you guys know of another place I could get them. Tried napa and autovalue.
Thanks in advance
Bk

yah thats a speedy nut. Rona sometimes has them as well, but they are generally pretty small... it may be wise to just delete the clip and put a proper lock washer and a nut behind. Or a Nylock even...
