Title: IAT sensor relocation Mod
Post by: BUKI on March 27, 2012, 07:49:43 PM
info here
www.angelfire.com/my/fan/IAT_sensor.html

there is some controversy about whether it works or not as ECU goes into open loop during WOT and pulls pre-programmed fuel maps.  And even in closed loop wouldn't the O2 freak out and readjust???

I am skeptical about this as nobody talks about this mod and it would affect all 4.0 ls.

I am asking because:
1.  This one is CHEAP/FREE.
2.  I need projects to do (parental leave) and I am Freeeeaking bored (when the kid is sleeping).

I bet Bill will know ;) ;)

Make that 2005

Should answer your question. ;)

Here is a link to some discussion on it. Its been around for a lot of years. Pay attention to whatever DocD says. He's a reputable tech.

I dont have anyone else that wants them and I didnt get a discount. A single set would run close to 175$ shipped, so I havnt ordered them. Seems steep in my opinion.
