I am looking to up date the exhaust on my 2008 JK,I use the jeep mostly for city and highway use. My thought were to install the Gibson headers and Gibson dual tip muffler. I do not a noisey system but one that has a nice rumble, the other choice for the muffler was the Banks, has any one out there tried either of these?

I've installed the magnaflow on a jk and it sounded good. Had a good seat of the pants feel. It was a single outlet and was a good bang for the buck. Not sure if headers will do much on the jk. I would google the reviews. After cat and a tuner toucan control the throttle response would be a good step. Maybe an air I take will add some too.

X2. Very good exhaust guy. He has done 7 exhausts for me. NEVER had an issue with exhaust after he was finished. :)

Although I haven't done a performance exhaust on a jeep, I have on my cars before. The key to a nice sounding exhaust is to make sure the engine has enough air to breath first.

I gave the Gibson dual exhaust on my 09 JK.
I love the noise coming from it, it is loud as F$%#!!! around the 2,000 RPM!, if you have people that u drive in the back they will hate you lol. Long drives on a high way gives me a headache. In the end, sounds Great!!!!!!!
I got the stainless steel one, does not rust at all, but the tubes themselves do a little bit.
I did it by my slef. it was very easy! or you can do it in minute muffler for around 50-75$
