Title: water coming in

hello just wondering where cheapest place is to buy a windshield cowl gasket from. water somimg in jeep to give good foot wash lol. checked vent drain under hood and its clear. only water under dash not around winshield that i can find so have reaad maybe to replace windshiled gasket. aking it off completely and cleaning old one off and re taping original seal under the cowl seal?  any one else had similiar issue?

if its coming in like that then its a good chance that your windshield is not bonded properly. what year and model of jeep? shoot me a pm and i can help you out.  ;)

This sounds very similar to the problem I had.  Both on my YJ and my dad's YJ the joint on the body between the cowl and the start of the vertical portion to the windshield frame leaked.  We both just ran a bead of silicone and it fixed the problem.

Don't use any old silicone it will cause rust to start. You can buy an automotive type silicone that suppose to not cause rust, but.....
