Anybody help with a vehicle recovery this afternoon?? Got stuck in a sink hole at waipouros, south ghost

Managed to get a ride to the south end of the 40 at ghost lake store,

That's the 4th guy  this week...

2 last weekend at Maclean and one yesterday.

I agree...I will delete the location of your Jeep.


I'm sorry personally my Jeep is out of order...

Allan has Big Hill on the way to help him out... he'll post out when he's out and if the tw truck can't get to his rig; Bonnie and I will head out. I will need a 2nd 4x4 if big Hill fails. Anyone willing to join us if option 1 fails?

Winches??? Pffft that's money well spent on more important things, like tapout stickers, fender flares, power waxer, hi lifts, off-road lights etc.

Damn.  I was already working on brackets to mount JK axles under my 96 2 door xj.  All ribbing aside,I'm glad tohear you got out. Lesson learned, sometimes the hard way is the best way,you never forget...neither does your wallet.

I can't wait until they release a Jeep model that is newer than the JK. Then I can hate it just because it's new, and constantly make the same set of snide comments. Over and over.

I'm glad you got yourself and your rig out without damage....and hope that this served to reinforce what was said at the 101.

i hope they re-do the xj, so the grocery getter comments resume...preferrably a 2014 XJ with a hemi, d44'd, lockers, or j8 running gear.
