Title: Fuel Injection re-install
Post by: LLYJ on July 18, 2012, 10:58:05 AM
Just put it all back together - new pump and had injectors and assy out, on a 93 yj with a 2.5L

Do I need to bleed air anywhere (such as the pres relieve schraeder valve on the rail) or should it pump fuel right up to the injectors the way it is and push the air into the tank via the return line ? - Thanks

Turn the key to run and it will prime, no air to bleed out. A couple cranks and it should start up.

Thanks - one less goose to chase if it doesn't fire....

Jeff - I'm surprised someone hasn't snatched that up - especially with your new price ! - The missus has a bun in the oven, and things are gettin weird, jeep spending wise LOL - "how does this help us with the baby ?" is the scrutiny applied to every purchase !

"how does this help us with the baby ?"

one must first understand baby brain...  it will be there for a least 1 year after... maybe longer.   If you ask to buy new underwear, she WILL have the same response.

My advise...  continue to buy things for the jeep, but get also get a jeep chew toys for the baby (dog chew toys work too).  Have jeep parts sent to the neighbors.  Ensure you beer fridge is always full.  You are going to be the cause of all problems for the foreseeable future.  Won't make any difference if you don't buy jeep parts. So you might as well.

Congrats on baby:-)

Another approach, is love I am doing a build on the jeep so I can give it as birthday present when the baby is 16!

Lots of pics with the baby in the jeep helps!

There is also the "easier to ask forgiveness than permission" approach but be cautioned, you REALLY take your life into your hands when you try this with a new/expecting mom.
