Title: need some welding done

had to fab up a tranny cover when I swapped trannys. Right now I have it held together using pop rivets but I want to have it welded up. What I did was cut up a tranny cover from an old ford pickup. Any suggestions on where I can take it? I have tried two body shops downtown (Maaco and one other that I cant remember the name of downtown) and they both said nope.
