Found a buried f150 this weekend, windows smashed out stereo gone. Got the lic plate was gonna see if its stolen, how can we go about removing said truck? Really looks bad on the offroad community when people see that im thinking.

Please report it to Alberta Sustainable Resource Development with the plate, vin and a GPS or map coordinate. It takes a while and then they come back and ask us to help remove it. They must report it to RCMP and get clearance to move it first.

Any updates?
Let me know if you need a hand through the red tape and we'll setup a date to go haul the junk out.

Set it up for a Sunday and I'll tow. Fully locked and plenty of wenching power. And a winch...

Still running that 4 banger? ;D
I joke, I joke... Tow ratings are over rated. I've seen your 4 cyl. haul full size junk out, should be fine.
Anyone else get a location & vin? Should be easy to find, how far in could an F-150 possibly go :D

I can give a rough location. Dunno if its still there now? My vehicles out of commision but i would be willing to lend a hand and guide. Id hate to see us go out there for nothing if its already gone

Rough location would help. I might be able to find it on the weekend and get infos.

Waiting on ASRD, at least til next week.
Then it's location may change to " in the ditch next to the highway" ;D

Pretty sure that's where I'm going to see it last ;)
If long weekend doesn't work I can do any Sunday.

My experience in the past at McLean was to talk to Srd, but ultimately you need to contact RCMP and report it. They will then tow it if it's easy to reach or request help removing it. If you get a nice officer they will let you take it to pick and pull for $$$ :-)

CJA has been pulling vehicles for quite some time, ASRD usually call us to remove the ones reported after the RCMP mumbojumbo clears.
