The burners will be different for a gas/bbq. More specifically, the orifices will be different Btu ratings. Cheap and easy fix. BBQs Galore has the new orifices.

Is it more expensive for the gas bbqs? I know im getting a bbq for a house gift so should i twll them to make sure its agas and not a propaine one? Or will it still work

Gas BBQ's are typically about 50 bucks more than their propane counterpart.

And you say your not a plumber. Those are plumbing words if ive ever read em...
BBQs galore is a great resource and Trevor is right. The orifices will be different. For the 50 bucks go with gas, you will never run out... Until maybe dec. 20th, but thats anyones guess......

Plumbers are experts on gas. And poop.
