Title: 2004 TJ....EGR VALVE? DOES IT HAVE ONE AND WHERE???

Hi all.
My Jeep 2004 TJ 4.0 litre sometimes drops to a low idle for a few seconds when I pull up to a stop. It is also slow to drop RPM's when up shifing to 2nd and 3rd.
Some internet info says to check and clean the egr valve. I can't find one if it does have one. My service manual just mentions a egr monitor.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I do not think it does...but I've experienced that scenario...  I cleaned the throttle body and sensors and that seemed to do the trick off and on.  I also experienced high revs at times.   I ended up changing the TPS after 2 years of having those issues and it's fixed...
