Danco or Commercial trucking now... http://maps.google.ca/maps?oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=danco+calgary&fb=1&gl=ca&hq=danco&hnear=0x537170039f843fd5:0x266d3bb1b652b63a,Calgary,+AB&cid=0,0,2339723463398458368&sa=X&ei=NBXJULyOIIesjALLn4DgAg&ved=0CIwBEPwSMAA
Others will recommend Pat's.... I have found Pat's insanely expensive. Go to Danco...

Go to Commercial trucking and ask for Cory.
They are no longer located where the map posted above shows.
This is the new location and directions from the old place.

Cory and Jason at commercial have done a ton of work for me lately.
Cory competed in top truck challenge in 2002. Been searching for videos but haven't found any yet.

sounds like your shaft is fawked and you might need a new one.........i've heard (cannot confirm) that isn't a fixable issue

Danco (Commercial Truck) just built a couple of drive shafts for my Atlas install. Price was good and quality also looks good.

Another Kudos for Commercial Truck. I had a driveshaft built by the "other guys" earlier this year and even after having them balance it a second time, I was still fighting vibes. I finally had Commercial balance it today (it was out by 19 grams).
I installed it and promptly ran the heep up to 150kmh and it's smooth like butta.

I have always gone to pats driveline on blackfoot just south of glenmore for any driveshaft work.
I had bad splines on my front driveshaft and the quote was around 600 dollars to install a new slip joint, new u joints and balance.
In the end i got a new driveshaft from Tom Woods for around 250 shipped. Plus you get a sick "My shafts a Woody" sticker !
This included a longer travel stronger slip joint, their house brand "Gold seal" U-joints and thick wall DOM tubing.

As my Highschool mechanics teacher would say "Never cheap out on Joints! And no these arent the kind you pass around between your friends!"

I have had great experiences at Pat's but due to reccomendations on this board I decided to give Commercial trucking a try.
It needs a new CV, Splines are shot....Joints are getting replaced with Spicer sealed joints.... only good parts were the H block and tubing. Not only did they diagnose the problem (Pat's did not) but their prices are significantly better as well. I'm north of $300 for the work being done, Uboatcmdr's price reflects the ball park Pat's would cost for just the splines. Customer service thus far seems to be fantastic as well.
Any work you needs done...you know where to go

Picked up a couple of pinion seals at Pat's and just about feinted at the price, $35/each.
After 20+ years of business with these guys I'll be price shopping before any more purchases.
