Now for the tech part.

DO NOT DO THIS, IT PRODUCES PHOSGENE GAS. We could hardly breathe after we shot the construction heater full.

Ironically this happened in my garage last night, while I was under my Jeep.

I like the CRC brake clean cuz it's non flammable, mucho cheapo at Acklands and the fumes are way nicer than the other stuff out there.

So why do you like it if it's obviously useless for making flamethrowers. When the zombies come you'll be useless. THINK OF THE BABIES.

I nearly murdered myself using this method last winter.  I had just spent my Home Depot gift card on a little heater, and decided the first task would be to tidy up some greasy junkyard parts, using some chlorine-infused brake cleaner.  The overspray from the brake cleaner made its way into the heater, and badaboom, gas attack.  I've never coughed so violently!  I had to vacate the garage, and let it air out.  Naturally I learned my lesson, so I only gassed myself one more time that night.   :-[  The sad part is that I was entirely sober.  My lungs hurt for a week.  Learning is fun!  ;D

Chlorinated brake cleaner can be turned into phosgene gas under the right conditions. However...spraying it into a source of fire doesn't do it. It requires extreme UV light and extreme heat....IE: welding. Burning it does just that.
