If I clear my PCM memory, what advantages does it have/disadvantages?

I would think that the pcm will reprogram it self to how u drive, it might save u gas or not

I tried it anyway, definitely drives noticablly smoother in the low gears, we will see at the end of the next few tanks how much it saves/costs me in gas.
