Title: Anybody been out to the gravel pit at Waiparous lately?

It's got the biggest pile of gravel I've ever seen and there's been a bunch of clear cutting right across the road.

I saw that last weekend. The trail going to meadow creek looks good still. I'm curious what all the gravel and clear cut is for...

Kevin was mentioning that hwy 40 is getting paved or something.  We saw it there when we went out to do the trail inventory.

Gravel is for the new bicyle paths for the new provincial park named after one of the former premiers of the province. As well as for the golf cart paths on the newly planned golf course in the new provincial park.














Is it still April first ?
