Title: Anybody bash RCs??
Post by: BUKI on April 28, 2013, 09:41:02 AM
So since my shoulder is in serious pain I have developed a new hobby. Anybody know a good place to do some serious destruction to my new slash??  It's hella cheap compared to the real thing. So I'm looking for good parks with jumps and drops and stuff. Also anyone know good places at McLean or wiapourus?
I guess this is kinda "off road" related, just not with my jeep. Lol. Mods feel free to move.

Frenchy and I suggest you go to the ol Glenmore bogs . Do it up Mike.

PS. Wear solid footwear to avoid stepping on  rusty nails . Bring hot dogs for a weenie-roast afterwards as there will be plenty of busted pallets and last year's Christmas trees lying around.

TONS of fun places to run those trucks around town.  WIldrose (Blackfoot) MX has a couple tracks too that are great for the Slash.

Thanx for the replies. Yeah I've heard of the track there,  can't find much info on it.

Head down to the MX track.  At the gates, tell the girl you're going to the RC Track.  You have to sign in, and I think it's $2.  Drive in and turn left, through some gates, and then left again down a bit of a hill.  Two (or so) RC tracks are right between the BMX track, and the moto-trials area.

black foot is where I bash my HPI savage XL, always a blast. and if your into rock crawling then the new PM hobby store at deer foot medows, heritage drive. Teds garage moved there and they have a nice rock course going on, fun comps on Fridays I think and some more serious competitions through out the year in different areas of the city. check out Calgary RC
