Title: Heater issue
Post by: DewaldJ on December 23, 2013, 09:56:47 PM
I have a 1997 TJ . The fan/heater inside only works when I turn the knob to 4. Nothing happens on 1,2,3. Any ideas?

Heater blower fan resistor pack. Sorry no idea where it is on a TJ. Usually under the dash on the passenger side, bolted into the heater box, has a wiring harness going to it with 3-4 wires and then may go off to the blower motor.

Be advised that when the resistor pack goes its often a sign that the blower motor is going. Especially if any wires are burnt or the plug shows signs of melting.
