What would you guys like to see available Locally, as far as DIY fab parts, brackets, builder parts, already fabricated parts such as bumpers, suspension components etc. ?????
-
Sorry thought you were asking where to get them.
-
Control arm brackets, shock brackets, diff covers, light tabs, winch plates, fair lead brackets.
-
I think that it breaks down into two categories of parts. It may be easier to concentrate on one of those categories to begin with.
1st Category: Parts for people that own welders (or are able to figure out who has the club welder right now)
All the stuff that Trev said, plus maybe some hoops for coilovers
2nd Category: Parts for people that don't own welders.
Bumpers, sliders, skid plates, bolt on light mounts. Also an inexpensive way to mount a winch on the front of a JK.

I would think that there would be a market for weld it yourself items, such as bumper kits that come with the pieces already cut out and then the customer welds it together himself. Would save on shipping too.

www.jcroffroad.com already do this, however they are in the States.
Having the option locally would be fantastic!
-
double shear track bar mounts that wont oval out... >:( Thx for fixin mine btw :)
-
Definitely more tabs and shock mounts, and having a local source of weld it yourself parts would be sweet.
-
Metal tail light housings that could hold LED lights..
-
Like these? http://www.jcroffroad.com/product/XJArmor/XJTLHSG97.html
Yeah that'd be sweet! Neat idea for sure.

I was in E-Mortal today and the whole customer waiting was stuffed full of racks with shock tabs , 4 link mounts, suspension hoops, limit straps, gussets, gears , disk brake brackets, axle trusses, some weld on some bold in stuff.
It was a lot of stuff and I guess more to come
-
Did they have stuff for the non-hardcore crowd? Ie stuff for D44s and 8.8s? I haven't been in there in a few years but last time I was there its was all for D60s and up.
-
I had no idea they carry all the TMR stuff, I'm going to go see them.

Hey everyone, yes we are the western Canadian dealer for TMR customs. We stock almost 95% of there complete product line and if your not familiar with it most defiantly check it out. We have almost everything you can think of for the do it youselfer to just making that one off project. Biggest bonus is that there are very limited Canadian companys producing parts for the off road market and they are one of them. We as a business would rather support a Canadian as apposed to an american company when ever we can. Great product, great price, almost everything you could ever need to modify your 4x4. Check out the websites or come in and see first hand the full display. www.e-mortalcustoms.com / ww.tmrcustoms.com. We also are stocking all sizes of DOM tubing to complete every job, best prices, local availability.

How about Aluminum bumpers and skids,be nice to have something light and that doesn't rust.
-
Like to see all the things mentioned, the problem is when it gets to doing business up here we dont offer the volume, so we get hosed on the prices.
We pay 5$ for 1$ tabs. Its difficult to justify shopping up here unless its one little peice you need.

I absolutely agree with You Bill, for example a 1.5" shock tab is $5.95 for a pair, same tabs I used on my jeep. I don't see why these tabs could not sell for lets say $3.95 locally. would a price like this be more appealing to buy locally?
-
Yeah, if I could get stuff for less than double or triple that of the advertised prices in the states I'd be interested.
