Title: Good tranny shop recommendations?

I drive a Dodge now so obviously I need a good, honest tranny shop on speed dial, any recommendations?

Depends on what you need Vince but the guy that rebuilt my tranny came highly recommended by many gearheads. He is in Balzac and works from home.

I'm having computer control issues with mine Tom, it goes into limp mode and stays in 4th gear. I did some research and apparently its not a matter of if it happens to these 545RFE tranny's, its when. The general consensus is its one of three things, the PCM, bad electrical connection or the shift solenoid located inside the tranny. I need somebody that can properly diagnose it.  If its the shift solenoid, its not that big of a deal to replace since tranny removal is not required.

Ive used the same Balzac guy .. His name is Steve and you can find his info if you google "Commercial Powertrain"
