My rear brakes seem to be locking up when it is raining out. When the roads are dry there's no problem but as soon as its wet out and after driving a km or so they lock up when coming to a stop. Thought it might be air in the brake lines, abs light doesn't come on but could be something to do with that also?....Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated once again.

Usually due to moisture or rust in the them. Give them a bit of a work out, and do some braking in revese to make sure they are adjusted.
Try that. See what happens.

Happens to me in the yj all the time. Only after it has sat for awhile.

Thanks for the input. Will be looking more into it on the weekend.

The drums on my XJ do the same thing. Sucks.... :(

My 01 xj has rear drum brakes and yes it sucks...sounds pretty bad. Took it out for a very light off road adventure this past weekend then gave it a good pressure wash and seems to be fine in the past few rains we've had....maybe it just missed the trails..lol
