I had no idea there was a Calgary Jeep Association until Black Betty told me about it a few days ago so I figured I'd join up!
I got my 93 XJ from Jenssen last September and it's been amazing for my first vehicle ever. It's sitting at just over 571k km right now and being used as my daily driver.

Hooked on Jeeps now.

Welcome to the forum, once your jeep gets broken in you'll have to come wheeling with us.

Haha! :P
Welcome to CJA!

I missed the Jeep 101 but are there any other events like it for rookies?
I just need to find some decent tow hooks that a student could afford then I should be good to go!

You will probably find that for the next couple of months there are a lot of informal get-togethers with newer folks and mostly stock rigs going out. You shouldn't have much problem finding groups of people to wheel with.

Nice. A real 4l with some serious miles. I'll wheel with ya. We can get lost together. I'm the clubs resident newb. 8 years of experience and I can still get stuck on anything. GREEN AS GRASS

Welcome, I may be going out this weekend, more than welcome to come along.

I definitely appreciate the offers to go wheeling! I'll for sure come out at least once this summer. I just need to find tow hooks for the front then my Jeep should be able to be helped out of most light situations.
I'm doing research for an offroad gokart I'm building for school and it's getting really time consuming but I should be ready to go in July or August!
