Title: Broke front axles on cj5

Hey I'm wondering if anyone has advise on what to do with my 74 cj5 front u-joint/ axle problems. It has 35" boggers which I know are to big for the axle But I'm looking to go to a 33" radial. I'd like to know what other guys are doing. My cj isn't intended for all out off roading, more of a fun toy that is both on and off road.  I was also wondering if 77-83 axles work in a 74?

There is a chromoly set you used to be able to get from superior that upped the joint to a d44 and late model 30 joint.

Worth looking into.
